Ardist Porter Patton age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Patton was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 6, 1929 to Everett and Maggie Burnette Porter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan Patton; sisters Oleta Claytor and Clella Bryant and a brother Joe Porter.

She is survived by her son Robert Patton and Judy Jones of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Ray and Mabel Porter of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Selma Patton; one niece and several nephews

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Jackie Poe officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family respectfully request donations be made to the Mt. Valley Hospice.
