Ardean H. Miller age 88 of Fries, Virginia passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Miller was born on December 9, 1922 in North Carolina to Troy and Luna Matilda Greer Ham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Worth Miller and brothers Garland Ham, James Ham and Worth Hamm.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Judy and Tom Jammes of Waynesboro, Virginia; Jean Lineberry of Fries, Virginia; Tony and Brenda Miller of Enterprise, Florida; Glenda Wright of Bristol, Virginia; Roger and Sharon Miller of Fries, Virginia; Ronnie and Tammy Miller of Salisbury, North Carolina; Barry and Cathy Miller of Fries, Virginia; Rhonda and Wade Sproviero of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers Myrtle Paoletti of Newark, Delaware; Junior Hamm of Newark,Delaware; Earsie Roland of Lansing, North Carolina; Anne Sanders of Elkton, Maryland, J.B. Ham of Lansing, North Carolina; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Linkous, Rev. Ronald Dale Wright, Jr. and Dr. Thomas Jammes officiating. Burial will follow in the Pond Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
