Archie Dean Testerman age 74 of Independence, Virginia passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Testerman was born on November 12, 1936 in Virginia to Herman Ray and Ella Billings Testerman.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine Testerman of Independence, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Timmy Swinney of Fries, Virginia; son Lee Testerman of Independence, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Harold Cole of Independence, Virginia; sister-in-law Joan Clark; brother-in-law Rush James; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; special nephew Dennis James.
The funeral service will be held Friday, September 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Grubbs Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 PM until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
