Annie Faye Tate age 72 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012 at her home.
Ms. Tate was born in Iowa on January 7, 1940 to Charles T.and Donna Lee Lyons Christman.
She is survived by her daughters Chochee Nickels and Kimberly Iroler; sons and daughter-in-law Ray Tate; Emmett and Erika Tate; sisters and brother-in-law Glenda and Carl Funk; Lucille Jordan; brothers and sisters-in-law Kyle and Darlene Christman; Earl and Lettico Christman all of Galax, Virginia; Donald Christman of Elkin, North Carolina; four grandchildren one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Galax Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Titus Anderson and Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Union Baptist Church Cemetery at Baywood. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Galax Church of God of Prophecy.
