Annie Lester Newman's Obituary
Annie Lester Newman age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Newman was born in Galax, Virginia on November 2, 1921 to Emmett and Frances Elizabeth Green Higgins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Berlin Newman.
She is survived by her son Dennis C. Newman of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Coal Creek Cemetery with Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
