Annetta Elizabeth Leonard age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Leonard was born in Lumpkin County, Georgia on August 14, 1938 to John and Claires Kerns Summerour. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Leonard.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Kimble of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Keith and Kathy Harman; Steven Leonard all of Wytheville, Virginia; four grandchildren Tyler Kimble (Kayla) of Woodlawn, Virginia; Teagan Young (Steve) of Hillsville, Virginia; Tristyn Kimble of Galax, Virginia; Sydney Leonard of Wytheville, Virginia; one great-grandson Maddox Kimble; brothers and sisters-in-law Paul Summerour of Panama City, Florida; Gary and Gloria Summerour of Oak Island, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; her beloved dog Mattie.

A memorial service will be held Saturday December 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel.
