Anne Hill Weaver, age 92, Galax, VA, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 in the Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, NC.

Mrs. Weaver was born March 15, 1923 in Crumpler, West Virginia to Samuel W. & Rose Morris Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leighton "Moe" Weaver.

She is survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Pat Weaver Wood and Tom Wood, Radford, VA, Robin Weaver Pack and Phil Pack, Galax, VA; son & fiance, Ed Weaver & Rhonda Cochran, Radford, VA, sons & daughter-in-law, Andy & Ruth Todd Weaver, Red Springs, NC and John Weaver, Galax, VA.; grandchildren Megan Patton, Erin Weaver, Heather Powell, Grace and Lacy Weaver, Tyler, Travis and Mallory Wood; Austin, Caleb and Carleigh Pack; three great-grandchildren Xander Patton, Vincent Powell and Rosalee Powell; several nieces & nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Felts Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service Saturday at the church. Officiating minister will be Pastor Sam Bartlett.
