Anna P. Young age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Young was born in Grayson County, Virginia on April 27, 1936 to Conley and Daisy Kyle Maxwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Clarence Bonnell Young.

She is survived by her husband Clarence Young of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Joey and Relanda Young, Sr. of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law Shiela Young of Shelby, North Carolina; four grandchildren Joey Young, Jr.; Staff Sgt. Joshua Wells; Rosalind Maldonado Nigel Norman; five step-grandchildren; special nieces Nona Richardson; Sylvia Richardson; special nephews William Davis;  Stevie Richardson; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Oldtown Cemetery with Minister Stevie Richardson and Bishop Barry Early officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
