Anna Lee Smith Farmer age 85 of Ennice, North Carolina passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 in the Waddell Nursing Home.

Mrs. Farmer was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 9, 1928 to the late Cable and Loney Taylor Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Emmett Farmer; son James Ray Farmer and grandson Michael Crouse.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Joan and Alan Martin of Fries, Virginia; grandchildren and spouse Mark and Kim Crouse of Woodlawn, Virginia; Michelle Farmer of Galax, Virginia; Chris Martin of Hillsville, Virginia; Kim Isom of Mooresville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren Matthew, Cadyn, Gavin, Morgan, Courtney and Sydney; great-great-grandchildren Ashton and Kylah; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Eddie Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in the Edmonds Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
