Anna K. McLaughlin age 95 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Golden Living Center. Mrs. McLaughlin was born on January 29, 1913 in Hartford, Ct. to Mariano & Joaquina Braga King. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Guy McLaughlin. She is survived by her brother-in-law & sister-in-law John & Alice McLaughlin of Woodlawn, Va.; sisters-in-law Wilma Corti of East Barre, Vermont; Lucy McLaughlin of Barre,Vermont; Mona Booe of Charlotte, N.C.; Ella Liese of Barre, Vermont; several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 4:00 pm in Galax Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Titus Anderson & Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Hope Cemetery in Barre City, Vermont. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
