Anna Marie Jackson Felts, age 79 entered heaven December 9th , surrounded by her family. Born January 1, 1934 to Reverend John R. Jackson and Mary Pricilla West Jackson in Pampa, Texas, she was the 9th of 10 children. The family traveled following her daddy's preaching which brought her to Galax, Virginia, where she finished school and met James Keith Felts whom she married in 1952.

Preceded in death are her parents and 8 other siblings. Survivors include her husband James "Keith" Felts, daughters Linda Felts Mabe and Karen Felts Shumate of Woodlawn, grandchildren, Bonnie Hogge (Damon), Joby Webb (Amanda), Barrett Bass (Regina), Joni Phillips (Timothy), Kimberly Ray (Joshua), and Kelly Matthews (John), 10 great grandchildren, Storm, Alex, Jacob, Jessica, Unity, Satoria, Gavin, Aiyiana, Job and another expected in June and her sister Jinnie Jackson McCurry.


Funeral services will be held at Vaughan Guynn-Galax, December 12th at 3 pm. Burial to follow at Woodlawn United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She donated to many charitable organizations especially for children, emergency responders and Billy Graham Ministries. Therefore, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to one of your favorites among these.
