Anna Allene Dotson's Obituary
Anna Allene Dotson age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, April 18, 2011 at the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Dotson was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 21, 1919 to Guy and Ella Hanks Stoneman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Price Dotson.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Anita and Kenneth Padgett; son Tommy Dotson; brother Swanson Stoneman all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Chad and Pam Anders; David and Kathy Anders; Jeff and Leah Padgett; Hope Dotson and Kathy Johnson; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildraen.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the Bishops Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Harmon and Rev. James Billings officiating. Burial will follow in Bishops Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from one until service time at Bishops Chapel Church. The family wishes for those who want to bring food to please take it to the Bishops Chapel Church Fellowship Hall.
