Ann Carol Burnette age 66 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, October 20, 2023  at her home.

Ann was born in Carroll County on March 12, 1957 to James E. and Wilma Lee Padgett Burnette.

She is survived by her husband Billy A. Burnette; son and daughter-in-law Steven D. and Chelsea Burnette all of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Audrey and Joe Newman of Woodlawn, Virginia; Shirley and Gary Felts of Austinville, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Rufus and Linda Burnette of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and special cat George.

The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Sam Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Bryant Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
