Ann Beamer Adams' Obituary
Ann Beamer Adams, 82, of Galax passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Waddell Nursing Home in Galax. She was born August 6, 1926 to Dorsey Beamer and Mattie Monday Beamer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband
Robert Lee Adams.
Mrs. Adams is survived by three sons: Robert Adams, Jr., of Danville; Greg & Tana Adams of Roanoke; and Tommy Adams of Galax; three brothers Dorsey Beamer of Galax, Arlan Beamer of Chapel Hill, NC and Bobby Beamer of North Carolina. Two grandchildren Corri Adams and Kolbe Adams along with several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 20 at 11:30 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Robert G. Moore III and Rev. Barry Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway, P O Box 20986, Roanoke, Virginia 24018
