Angela Juanita Ray age 63 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at her home.

Angela was born in Martinsville, Virginia on February 9, 1962. She was preceded in death by her mother Earlene Jones Barrett; son Roger "Bubba" Lee Ray; grandson Matthew Lundy and sister Patsy Edwards.

She is survived by her father John Odell Barrett of Fries, Virginia; children Amanda Ray (Robby Hollinger) of Lebanon, Virginia; Courtney Melton of Fries, Virginia; Barry Fields of Galax, Virginia; brother Jeff Barrett (Tammie Hyatt) of Fries, Virginia; four grandchildren Jonathan Wroten; Alexis Ray; Carrie Ray and Laya Ray;  one great-grandchild Ezekiel Boyd; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
