Angela Kay Spurlin better known as Sissy Spurlin age 58 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday July 25, 2023 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Sissy was born on October 1, 1964 in Galax, Virginia to Charles M. and Faye Freeman Spraker. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers Timothy "Bo" Freeman and Ricky Weatherman.

She is survived by her husband Allen De-Elliot Spurlin; daughters and son-in-law Allison and Colton Pinter; Jessica Spurlin; son James Grubb; father Charles M Spraker all of Fries, Virginia; five grandchildren Ethan Lineberry; Emma Spurlin; Joseph Pinter; Abigail Grubb; Johnny Grubb; special cousin Melissa Funk Crigger; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Atkins Memorial Church Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Linkous officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
