Amanda Michelle Swisher age 31 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday August 8, 2021 at her home.

Amanda was born in Galax, Virginia on May 10, 1990. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Charles N. Isom.

She is survived by her mother Cathy Swisher; father and step-mother Bill Swisher and Karen Sue Diamond; sister Adryanna Swisher; grandmother Joan Isom; aunt and uncle Denice McBride and Josh; uncle Eric Isom and Renee Bobbitt all are of Galax, Virginia.

The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Crooked Creek Church with Pastor Rex Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Crooked Creek Church, 1808 Harrison Ridge Road, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381 or to the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 10, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381.
