Amanda Lauren Ramey met Jesus Thursday March 5, 2020. She was born in Galax February 22, 1988.
She is survived by her parents Kathy and Donnie Baker, Johnny and Teresa Ramey. Sisters and spouses, Alison and Justin DeHaven of Winchester, VA; Amber and Josh Hall of Galax. Nephews, Eli and Colby Hash, Austin Hall; nieces, Mara and Alaya Hall. SPECIAL CAREGIVERS and extended family, Crystal, Jordan, Cole, Aiden and Liam Anderson; Angie and Jack Davis; Doris and Bowie Combs, Terry and Linda Combs; Jeff and Wynn Combs, Joyelle and Danielle and families; Johnny, Joel and Jacob Anderson all of Galax.

She was preceded in death by a brother John Aaron Ramey; grandparents Gene and Wilma Smith, Junior and Lena Mae Ramey.

Amanda had a love for Barney, but also for game shows, talk shows, cops on TV, all sports. She loved going to watch the boys play their sports.

She was a great witness for God to everyone she saw. One of her Doctors stated, "Amanda may not talk, but she speaks volume!!!" She touched everyone with her smile.

The funeral service will be held Saturday March 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Snow Hill Baptist Church, with Ernie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral at Snowhill Baptist Church. Burial will be Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Snow Hill Cemetery. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Snow Hill Cemetery Fund.
