Amanda Juanita Hill Caudill age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Hill was born in the Cana community of Carroll County, Virginia on March 28, 1940 to Joseph Levert and Sarah Elizabeth Easter Hill. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Charles Hill.

She is survived by her husband Troy Caudill of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Ricky Hamm; son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Tammy Caudill all of Fries, Virginia; two grandchildren Brooke Hamm and Dustin Caudill; sisters and brother-in-law Thelma Hamm of Galax, Virginia; Wilma and Bill Nuckolls of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special friends Thomas Berry and Sue Huffman.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Rutherford and the Rev. Matt Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Baywood. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
