Alvah Jacob Mabe age 59 of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at the home of his mother.
Alvah was born in Galax, Virginia on September 21, 1953 to Alvah Marlin and Jeanette Lineberry Mabe.
In addition to his mother Jeanette Mabe of Bassett, Virginia he is survived by his wife Roxia Mabe of Ridgeway, Virginia; sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Tim Vernon of Stuart, Virginia; brother Doyle Mabe of Bassett, Virginia; nephew and wife Marlin and Katie Mabe of Low Gap, North Carolina; several aunts and uncles.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Alan Vass officiating. Burial will follow in the Mabe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
