Alma Leosa Burcham Vaughan age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Vaughan was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 22, 1931 to Robert and Rausy Burcham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Monroe Vaughan and siblings Laura Leonard, Faye Diamond, Diana Delp, Arnold Burcham and Arthur "Buck" Burcham.

She is survived by her sister Norma Easter of Midlothian, Virginia; brothers Buford Burcham of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Archie "Bud" Burcham of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special neighbor, friend and loving caregiver Peggy Crouse.

The funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of donor's choice.
