Alma Ruth Sizemore age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 in the Senior Homeshare Home in Galax, Virginia.

Mrs. Sizemore was born on July 23, 1928 in Galax, Virginia to James Vester and Maggie Isom Ingersoll. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Virginia Byrd and Helen Frost and a brother James Ingersoll.

She is survived by her husband Gilmer Sizemore; two sisters-in-law Doris Martin and Liz Ingersoll all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Mark Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
