Allene Lewis Robinson age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Robinson was born on May 2, 1917 in Grayson County, Virginia to Omer & Zollie Johnson McCray. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Isom Robinson. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Arnold C. & Alma Robinson of Killen, Texas; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Sunday December 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Evangelist Gloria Richardson & Rev. Raymond Brown, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Goins Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from one until two at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
