Allen Gale King, age 65 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 in the Atrium Health in Charlotte North Carolina.

Allen was born on September 28, 1955 in Galax, Virginia to Claude and Mary Ann Goad King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Coty King.

He is survived by his wife Marcie Jean King of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Allena and Alex Hosseini of Greenville, North Carolina; son Josh King of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Calynn King; Kye King; Kensley King; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Kelly King of Hillsville, Virginia; mother-in-law Melva Anders of Fries, Virginia; sisters-in-law and spouse Alane King of Galax, Virginia; Marla and Steve Lamb of Hillsville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
