Allen Eugene Waller age 79 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at his home.

"Eugie" as he was affectionately called, was born on Friday March 29, 1946 in Grayson County, Virginia to Warren A. and Maude Mallory Waller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Warren Michael "Mike" Waller.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1970.

In 1965 he married Mary D. Taylor, a union that lasted for over 59years. Together they created a loving home and devoted family.

Those mourning his loss include his wife Mary Taylor Waller of Fries, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Katrina Hill and William Pennington; Tanya and Pete Bowers; Carlene and Jr. Grose; grandchildren and spouses Eric and Lora Hill; Patrick and Amber Hill; Jessie Bowers; Leslie Grose and William Byrd; Nathan Grose and Hannah Browning, Riley Grose; great grandchildren Noah Hylton, Mason Byrd; Katy Hill; Christian Hill; brothers and sister-in-law Gary Waller; Harry and Elizabeth Waller; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Jeff Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
