Alice Inez Lundy's Obituary
Alice Inez Ayers Lundy age 88 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Lundy was born in Carroll County, Virginia on October 9, 1921 to Thomas Jefferson & Lillian Vaughan Ayers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Sidney Lundy and son Mitchell Ayers.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Peggy & Elden Mabe of Hillsville, Va.; Kathy & Donnie Musgrove of Sparta, N.C.; sons & daughters-in-law Roger & Becky Lundy of Galax, Va.; Larry & Pat Lundy of Fries, Va.; daughter-in-law Wanda Ayers of Galax, Va.; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Sam Blevins officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
