Alice Faye Harris better known as Suzie Harris age 64 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday April 19, 2021 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Suzie was born in Galax, Virginia on December 6, 1956 to Adam Charles and Geneva Turman Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Caroline Parsons.

She is survived by her son Allen K. Parsons of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren Aly Parsons and Phillip Parsons;  sister Betty Simmons of Woodlawn, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Debbie Harris of Galax, Virginia; two nephews (special nephew and wife Joseph and Doris Cox.)

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Steven Poore officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Stevens Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until time for the memorial service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
