Alice Anders Carico age 91 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Carico was born in Grayson County, Va. on November 6, 1918 to Rush and Cora Martin Anders. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carlie Carico.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Mary & Barry Lawson of Fries, Va.; Dolores "Bo" & Bobby Yow of Galax, Va.; son & daughter-in-law Paul & Emogene Anders of Galax, Va.; step-daughter Rev. Aleen Aker of Max Meadows, Va.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; special niece Betty Wright.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 6:00 pm at Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Linkous and Pastor Ron Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from five until six at Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
