Alice Stevens Bobbitt age 67 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday in Waddell Nursing Home. She was born on June 3, 1939 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Blane & Minnie Surratt Stevens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Buddy F. Bobbitt. She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law Mary & David Lewis of Fries, Va.; sister, Lorraine Burcham of Galax, Va.; three grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
