Alfreda Ann Robinson age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at her home.

Alfreda was born in Galax, Virginia on April 20, 1949 to Elmer Jack and Annie Katherine Gambill Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Alma Lee Robinson.

She is survived her son Cory Robinson of Galax, Virginia, daughters and son-in-law Catina and Tony Hale; Katherine "K.D." Delores Bowens of Chicago, Illinois; sisters and brothers-in-law Carrie Mae Robinson of Galax, Virginia; Brenda Seaton; Teresa and Orlando Smith; Arlene Robinson; Alma Joyce Robinson; Janice Sheffey all of Lansing, Michigan; Laydean Young of Ashtabula, Ohio; Melissa Robinson of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers and sister-in-law Elmer and Ethel Robinson of LaGrange, Illinois; Jeffrey Robinson and Timothy Robinson of Lansing, Michigan; three grandchildren Jakara Robinson; Delilah Hale and Jocelyn Hale; a host of nieces and nephew.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the Mt. Zion Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
