Aletha Geneva Reavis age 92 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Reavis was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 12, 1921 to Adam and Mae Chappell Manus. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Reavis.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Fred and Judith Reavis of Columbia, South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at twelve noon in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Sam Bartlett officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time for the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
