Alene M Mcgee's Obituary
Alene M. McGee, 77, passed away Sunday, Setpember 4, 2011 at the Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, VA. Mrs. McGee was born October 27, 1933 in Galax to Adam Nelson & Mae Early Chappell Manus.
She is survived by her husband: Fred McGee of the home, daughter Diane Haynes of Galax; son and daughter-in-law: Dick & Sandra McGee of Fountain Inn, SC, a sister Aletha Reavis of Galax; three grandchildren: Rick McGee, James McGee and Ashley Haynes.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations made be made to the following: American Cancer Society, 230 Charwood Drive, Abingdon, VA 24210; American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or Gideon International, P O Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
