Alan Wayne Hooven age 48 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016 in the Forsyth Medical Center.
Alan was born in Galax, Virginia on October 14, 1968 to Douglas and Nancy Sexton Hooven.
He is survived by his wife Tia Hooven; daughters Meagan Cheyenne Hooven (Justin Cole); Autumn Michelle Hooven; Kaitlin Alane Hooven; mother Nancy Sexton Hooven; father and step-mother Doug and Georgia Hooven ; grandson Gaige Alan Cole; half-brother Phillip Leath all of Galax, Virginia; father-in-law and mother-in-law Scooter and Karen Jones; brother-in-law Cory Jones all of Fries, Virginia; nephew Trevor Leath; uncle and aunt Mark and Vicki Sexton; many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friend Tim Bullins.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Gladeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
