Agnes Irene Mckenzie's Obituary
Agnes Irene McKenzie age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at her home.
Ms. McKenzie was born on March 19, 1942 in Grayson County, Virginia to James Leroy and Ruby Estel Frazier McKenzie.
She is survived by a sister Virginia (Jennie) McKenzie of Galax, Virginia; nieces and nephews Lucinda Carrico (Jimmy); Pippa Smith (Gene); Tim McKenzie (Peggy); Amanda Prosser (Brad); Kay Ramey (Gary); Donna McKenzie; Patty Banks several great nieces and great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; one great-great-great nephew; special sisters Teresa Banks and Doreen Dolinger; special dogs Toby and Assie.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Jimmy Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
