Adron McGrady Amburn age 88 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, March 31, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Amburn was born in Carroll County, Va. on December 2, 1919 to Rufus Frank & Lena Mae Cocke Amburn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Etta Mae Moore Amburn. He is survived by a son & daughter-in-law Martin Adron & Debra Lynn Amburn of Woodlawn, Va.; sisters Lola Ivalene Ward of Hillsville, Va.; Vera Agnes Hawks of Woodlawn, Va.; one grandson; several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Edward Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery with Military Rites by Grayson VFW Post 7726 . The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
