Ada Lee Isom, 81, of Galax, Virginia passed away at her home on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 27, 1931 to Ed Billings and Lula Tillie Billings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Penn Isom.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Patty Hampton and Melvin Garcia and Wanda Jones all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Michael Hampton, Darren Hampton, Alex Garcia and Tyler Garcia; great grandchildren: Madox Hampton, Brooke Hampton and Logan Hampton; sisters and brothers-in-law: Rosa and Hobert Mays of Galax, Virginia; Treva Roberts of Fries, Virginia; Velin and Clayton Carico of Fries, Virginia; brothers: Jay Billings, George Billings and Charlie Billings all of Galax, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service was held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Max Combs officiating. Burial followed in the Galax City Cemetery.
