Aaron Wake Larrowe known as Wake Larrowe age 79 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at his home.

Wake was born on September 2, 1945 in Carroll County, Virginia to Errett and Susanna Hill Larrowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings June, Carroll, Horace, Howard, Dale, Dean and Wayne.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Larrowe of Woodlawn, Virginia; son and his wife Alan Larrowe of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; stepsons and spouse Doug and Tina McMillon of Galax, Virginia; Mike Jackson of Woodlawn, Virginia; two grandchildren and spouses Isaac and Ashley Larrowe; Haley and Christian Buis; two step-grandchildren; and spouses Brooklyn and Farren Sullivan; Cassie and Shawn Campbell; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special neighbors Sissy and Bubba Babcock.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Doug Goad and Pastor Rick Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
